at the end of the petal 16th, close and cut the yarn
not too short, 'cause if it's short
you will have problems when you close your work with needle
recap: 16th petals, 10 ch for each one
2th method: how to join flowers WHILE doing daisy
we are going to join daisy and small flower together making daisy's petals
half 1st petal: 5 ch
now put white pistil back to back with small flower go into one small flower's petal
and now 5 ch to shape
the other half of 1st petal ...
back to pistil, in the next connection start with
2nd petal
again
5 ch
come back to the small flower
back to back
5 ch to finish 2nd petal
now
back to pistil, into the next connection
we are going to finish the daisy
making the remaining petals,
10 ch for each one...
this is the last
petal
cut the yarn
pull
that's our daisy with small flower
Let's do the 2nd daisy under the 1st
start
like 1st daisy
5 ch = half petal
back to back, insert yarn into small flower's petal
other 5 ch to complete 1st daisy petal and
come back to white pistil
again, 2nd petal: 5 ch
go into the next petal in the small flower
5 ch to complete the 2nd daisy petal
now we have 2 daisy petals
already joined with the small flower.
the next 2 petals are not joined with other flower up till now
so there are free petals: 10 ch for each one.
after "free petals" we must do a petal that will be join to
small flower: skip one small flower petal
from the last that you've already joined
and go into the next one, join
and complete the daisy petal
doing 5 ch.
Now start a new petal
starting from the next connection of white pistil:
5 ch
then join to the small flower petal that you've just left free:
5 ch to complete.
Now we have to join 2nd and 1st daisy:
2 petals will be joined
5 ch to start
now daisy to daisy, back to back
go into the 1st daisy petal,
5 ch to complete.
2nd daisy's petal is
another petal to join:
5 ch
go into next petal of 1st daisy
5 ch to complete.
This 2nd daisy is not join anymore to others flowers
so we can complete it
doing other petals, 10 ch for each one.
Here we are with the 16th petal, the last one
go back to white pistil, last connection
close
...
and you can see
that this is the left-border of our pattern
Now let's do the 3th daisy,
on the right of 1st one
we have already joined daisy to the small flower
and we must calculate which petal join and which not
we are forming pattern's high-left corner
so the daisy will be join by 2 petals to 1st daisy
and by other 2 petals to the small flower that is common with 2nd daisy
so we must do now 8 free petals: 10 ch for each one
