Today I teach red bean paste
rinse 70 grams red bean several times
soak in water for 3 hours
3 hours later, pour out the red beans
rinse beans several times
boil up 200 ml water, add red beans in
turn to low heat
cover with lid, cook for 20 mins
20 mins later, pour out the red beans
rinse red beans several times
boil up 500 ml water
add red beans inside
turn to medium heat
cook for 45 mins, cover with lid
45 mins later, the beans swell
cooking time may vary coz of different heat
make sure yours beans swell, add water and cook longer if needed
put in 40 grams sugar, a pinch of salt
cover with the lid cook for 15 mins
15 mins later, mash red beans several times
mash until it becomes a paste
cook til water is nearly evaporated
now the water is almost evaporated
you can see the circles after stiring
it flows slowly
turn off the heat
add 1 tbsp butter, stir and mix well
now leave to chill
red bean paste is used for fillings
