Alright to recap, what I want to impress upon you, at least for my own personal sake is
that our alphabet is what I would consider to be a National Treasure and I like this,
I hope that this idea calls to mind for you the movie "National Treasure" and some day
I am going to tell you why I am saying that. But our alphabet is really a very, very important
part of our culture and today we were talking about the shape of the letters of the alphabet
and all of that comes under a category what I call, " A Category of Order". We ordinarily
think about the idea of alphabetical order but there is also something called the "Graphic
Order" and the "Graphic Order" is what we were working with today. But let me ask you
this, do you think of alphabetical order, that the alphabet starts out with "A" and
goes along and then ends with "Z". Why do you think we need alphabetical order? Think
about it, think about it, pause, think about it, think about it, okay I am going to tell
you, you already know, alright we need alphabetical order in order to learn it and we also need
alphabetical order to look things up in books and in dictionaries and in every single thing
that we do for which we keep order in this entire culture. We actually make use of alphabetical
order somewhere along the line. So, that is a very, very important thing. Nobody ever
really thinks about that.
