Hi everyone! Today I'm going to show you a very quick recipe. It's grain-free, it's Paleo,
and it's great after a workout. It's a breakfast that we keep making again and again, it's
definitely one of our favourites, so I hope you'll like it, too! So let's get started!
So that's what you're going to need, and this is going to be for two people. You just need
a bowl of green peas or garden peas, you need 4 big mushrooms, which is around 1-2 pound
or 9 ounces, and then you need around two medium cloves of garlic, 2 tbsp. of butter,
but if you don't eat dairy, you can just have coconut oil or lard, tallow, any other oil
that you like cooking with. You need 4 eggs, and then some black pepper and salt. So for
this recipe you need 4 eggs but you can either fry them or boil them. So I will fry mine,
and my husband prefers them boiled. So that's what we're going to do now. I'll put them
in boiling water and will just leave them there for 8 minutes with the fire switched
off. In the meanwhile, let's go and chop the garlic and the mushrooms. Then we'll chop
the mushrooms, and they don't have to be chopped in very small pieces, so rough chopping is
fine. Kind of like that. I'm going to put half of the butter in the frying pan. It's
going to be for the garlic, mushrooms and green peas. So now that the butter is melted,
I've added the garlic and will cook it for a couple of minutes. I'll add the mushrooms.
I guess I normally cook them 2 or 3 minutes until they release their juices and they become
kind of darker brown. That's when I add the green peas. It's time to add the green peas.
Once I add the green peas, that's when I add some salt and some pepper. Once I put the
green peas together with the mushrooms, then it's time to start cooking the eggs. So I'll
just add the butter to the other frying pan. Now it's time to add the eggs. The secret to really good eggs is
to keep the fire quite low because otherwise they just get burnt and too dry. So my eggs
are perfectly cooked now. I'm just going to transfer them to my plate. They came out perfectly
because I really like it when they are still soft inside. And it's funny because the egg
whites kind of exploded on top of the yolks, so it looks like they're wearing some kind
of hat. The green peas and mushrooms are ready as well, so we'll add that to the eggs. So
my perfect breakfast is ready. I'm going to go and eat it now, and I don't know what it
is about this combination of mushrooms and green peas but it drives me crazy. And I can't
stop eating it. it's great because it has a nice combination of fats, carbs and protein,
so it's great for any morning and especially after exercising. it doesn't take long to
make it, it's only around 20 minutes... well, maybe maximum 30 minutes. So it's super easy
as well. Everybody can do it. So if you give it a try, let me know how you like it, give
me a thumbs up if you liked it. Subscribe to this channel if you haven't done so already
