Hi, my name is Rachel Perilli Randolf and I'm here with Expert Village on how to choose
a handbag. And right now I'm going to be talking about how expensive they can really get and
why. When you're at that store and you're looking at all those handbags, yes, the materials
may look really great, but how much are you willing to pay for it? There are different
prices for different bags. For example, the designer. Designers, as soon as their name
goes up, it gets ten times more as expensive. Also, the stitching. The stitching has a lot
to do with it. If it's more durable it 's going to be a lot more expensive. It depends
on what kind of bag you're looking for, for what occasion you want. If you go to any store
you'll see a different variety of bags but some are going to be really great and you'll
be like "wow, I want that one" but it's going to be way too expensive. There are also other
bags that can look just like it that will be just as inexpensive, so you don't necessarily
have to go for the most expensive thing. If you're looking for a bag that you want to
keep for the rest of your life and you're never going to throw it away then, yeah, you
can shell out some money. But if you're looking for a more inexpensive bag, say for maybe
just a couple of years, then you can go to spend just like ten bucks on it and it will
be just as great as that expensive bag. Up next, we're going to go into why bags are
more expensive.
