Hi, I'm Latonia Page, a former Presidential Management Fellow and the Manager of the Presidential
Management Fellows Program. This video provides you with an overview of the process involved
in becoming a Presidential Management Fellow, along with step-by-step guidance for submitting
your application. A picture is worth a thousand words. So my
colleague Cassie is going to illustrate the various steps involved in becoming a PMF.
First, applicants must complete the online application and online assessment in the fall.
Second, eligible applicants that score well enough on the online assessment will become
"PMF Semi-Finalists" and will be invited to an in-person assessment, which will be held
in several major cities across the country in the winter.
Third, those Semi-Finalists that score well enough on the in-person assessment will become
"Finalists" and will receive an invitation to the PMF job fair, which is held in Washington,
DC in the spring. PMF Finalists have a full year from the date they become a Finalist
to interview for and begin a Fellowship at an Agency. Once a PMF Finalist joins an Agency,
they officially become, "Presidential Management Fellows."
Now that you have a better understanding of the overall process, my colleague Andrew will
walk you through the online application process. Hi, I’m Andrew from the PMF Program Office!
