Hi. Here is a clarification of the last stage of this series of catsuit-making videos
because I think I rushed it in the previous one.
This is a sequence of layers, not presented in the same order as construction,
showing what we're trying to do.
The suit is viewed from behind.
The top part here is the full sleeves and upper part of the back of the suit
which I've called the yoke.
The lower part is a cut-away view showing the inside front of the suit.
If someone were to wear just this cut-away part of the suit,
it would look like this leaving most of the back exposed.
The fabric covering the back extends from the sides of the front, although it's shown in red here for clarity
and has the rearward half of a short sleeve on either side.
We tuck it inside the top and secure it by sewing along the sleeve seems that it touches.
Notice that it has been cut just short of the neckline.
Because it's inside,
you won't ultimately see the purple bit.
And because the back and front are all just areas of the same large body piece of fabric
it'll all be one colour,
so you'll only see the curve from armpit to armpit
and the other seams.
Note, I don't show the centre-back seam here.
