Hi! This is Rich Buccola here in New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village,
I'm going to show you how to make French onion soup. We're here and we're actually eating
the soup. It came out fantastic. This is amazing. I know I take credit for a lot of these, but
these are my aunt’s, my grandmother’s, and even some of my great grandma’s recipes.
They're really easy to follow. I just want to let everyone know as far as cost, cost
is very cheap. Onions are cheap. You're going to need some butter. You're going to need
some white wine. You should have some butter, white wine, and stuff like this in your kitchen.
You're going to need cans of chicken stock. You can make a nice heaping pot of French
onion soup. Even with the mozzarella, 20 dollars or less depending on where you live. it will
feed 6-10 people. The flavors are great. As far as storage, it's in a corningware already,
so you can just cover it with tin foil. When you want to reheat, just put it in your oven
at 350 for about 20 minutes until it gets hot. Then you can stick it right underneath
the broiler. You can even add some more cheese if you want to get that bubbly brown stuff.
Everybody loved this. I even have to say so myself. This was amazing stuff today. I hope
you make it. I enjoy being in your kitchen everyday here on Expert Village. My name is
Richard Buccola of New York City and on behalf of Expert Village, thank you for watching.
Bon Appé***
