Now, you're terribly interested in attending SAIC, but you're thinking, pondering, and
considering your finances. Well fear not! may we present: Everything You Need to Know
About Financial Aid.
Thing 1: You could receive merit-based scholarships from your portfolio. If you haven't submitted
your work yet, jump on it.
Thing 2: You might also be eligible for need-based aid. This means grants, loans, and work study
opportunities. Apply now so Student Financial Services can determine your eligibility for
SAIC need-based funds. Each year we offer $27 million in aid to our students.
Sounds good, right? To get those awards, you'll need to apply using the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid. Get yourself to fafsa.gov and apply as soon as you can. Use our school
code, 001753, to make sure your paperwork gets to the right place.
Folks who've filed their FAFSA will find their awards packages soon; as we start sending
them out in early March, and continue to send them on a rolling basis.
What's that? Some questions from the crowd?
Yes, you there. Yes, just apply using estimated figures for
now. You'll have to go back and adjust them when you have your taxes filed, but it's the
best option to get the ball rolling.
And you, over there. Definitely. Even if you're not eligible for
need-based aid, you could still be eligible for low-interest rate loans. Which are, let's
be honest, the best kind of loans.
Okay, last one. First of all, I like the cut of your jib.
