Hi Everyone, Hello Kitty is so sweet and pretty, and all the little girls love it and the older
ones too, and this is why I have thought to make a tutorial as I believe one day it could
come handy to you too, byeeee. First of all I make a ball out of white fondant
and pressing on the sides I make it oval in this way.
Then I make the ears, I press with my fingers doing a diamond and I cut it in the middle.
I glue the first ear here and the other one on the other side of the head.
Then I use little a bit of black fondant for the eyes , I cut the little piece in half so I have the half
of it, I shape it into an oval and I put underneath the ear, so here pressing little a bit, and
I'm going to do the same thing for the other eye.
The nose is a bit bigger than the eye, I put it on the center of the face.
I need a bit a black fondant for the beard, I want to make then really thin as they look
nicer, I cut this piece as it is too long, I glue it to the face and I do the same with
all the others. Now that all the beards have been done with
really little, little white fondant the eye's shadows, one and two.
To make the ribbon I use some pink fondant, first I make a ball so that the fondant is
nice to work to, then I make a sausage , I press it little a bit, and with a brush end
I "incidere" the lines of the ribbon. Always with a brush end I make the center
narrow, her you go, perfect! I will need another piece of pink fondant
that I'm going to put in the middle of the ribbon and I flatten it little a bit.
And I put it near the ear, here there is something missing so I make it a bit better again with
the brush end. I'm going to put the face on a side so it
harden up, normally 24 hours is enough. Let's start doing the body: the dress will
be pink matching the ribbon, out of a ball I make a cone, press here at the top of the
body, I'm going to put some white fondant. For the arms I use some white fondant and
I roll it to make a sausage, I cut it in the middle so I will have the two arms, but I'm
going to make the sleeves . I cut a circle, I cut it in half and with
a toothpick I make some lines and now I'm going to glue on the arm.
I put some glue on the arm, and I put it on the body, one arm will stay this way but the
other one I wanna a bit higher, so I'm going to put something underneath, anything you
can find , so it will harden up in the right position.
For the feet I'm going to use some white fondant , as usually I first start making a ball and
then I press it to make it a drop shape and glue to the body.
Something that I really like to do is to add some sparkle to the, pearl spray is the one
that I use, just like this. I insert the toothpick inside the body and
I wait until it is nice and hard, so that I can assemble everything afterwards.
So here we are, I can put the body onto the cake, and I insert a bigger and longer skew
stick , so that Hello Kitty is more stable.
