welcome to the fact that showed it is the eleven year anniversary since the
september eleventh attacks
last year for the tenth anniversary show we did an entire retrospective with a
number of different destin experts bout members of congress members members of
the military
and so many others are encouraging to go back
and check that out uh... i don't think that uh... indefinitely we need to do
nine eleven special so we wanted a louis because there's so much other news to
get to do you know you can just go back and check out last years it was uh...
comprehensive
and certainly every year we do you think about what happened at year end and just
because it's not wall-to-wall media coverage anymore does it mean that were
anymore removed from the horrors of that day i know i wrote it in the newspaper
last year about uh...
where i was on that day rim but let's talk about what's going on with uh...
pat robertson pat robertson's back in the news for a couple of different
things first of all mit romney
decided that it would be a good idea to campaign alongside pat robertson
uh... that's weird at the end of itself but his good idea
well he did maybe it's a good idea for president obama
know it's a good year for romney
i disagree i really don't know that it is if course it is it's a great idea
let's assume that it is
why did he go and start implying that
unlike if president obama is re-elected
member on the isn't going to remove god from american corning
interesting 'cause i don't remember president obama campaigning on removing
god from american coins
that being said
look at uh... if you're watching the video here look at how robertson there
in the background smiling away as mit romney talks about
he's not going to remove god
from our corning
paramount issue yeah apparently this is uh... paris is number one concern kya
place says under god i will not take god out of the name of our platform
the
had taken out of my heart
the you're worried about uh... of president all bomber
tanking god-awful for a quien tiene or that it never on the is elected
president
he's not going to do it i'd know you were really worried about that happening
myers terrified god i had
ninety result last night
good to know he'd gone to vote this election over perot i mean i mean this
is like saying president obama's going to cause
any lian invasion of earth raises conduit where is mit romney coming up
with this stuff
no idea
work he does need to you
to rally the support of the uh...
the evangelical christian hearing you thinking about that robertson saying
stuff like this will help i can't think of a better way profile
good for high no way i know we we think it's crazy but louis the question is
will there be a net gain in other words can he really win by riding on the
evangelical vote
and uh... uh... who's not riding on it but it really needing v
bottle moderate but we don't know maybe he can maybe it's a winning strategy
we're not exactly sure what it's going to take for running away right
i don't think he can
but uh...
i think this can only help
so then on to pat robertson out different pat robertson
campaigning with mitt romney
pat robertson a very very disturbed individual who is
recommended all sorts of insane and and very very
uh... uh... he gives a lot of advice that really would lead to the lou
ruining a lot of people's lives rather than the betterment
he gets and email and again we never know if the emails that pat robertson
gets or somebody trolling pat robertson or if they're for real
but that being said let's assume this is a real email
a guide emails in saying that he
is having trouble with his wife
pat robertson recommends
why don't you become a moslem move to saudi arabia
and then beat your wife that's pat robertson's prescription
for improving this marriage take a listen to this ladies and gents
stress mints comes from michaels who says my wife has become a real problem
she has no respect for me as the head of the house she insults me she even when
aspire stressing her hand to beat me
i've lost my self-confidence her words heard so much in she refused to talk
through our problems please tell me what i can do right
london could become a most willing to be here
but in the love that
you know it was certainly revealed
you know i think she dismissed those things that they're
uh... and
he can go to get away with this stuff
paranoia about that
p_k_ letter get away with this stuff number one
what's stopping you talking about wet what one earth and we're talking about
this verbal and physical abuse n but he's now he's saying did that this email
it could be a
cityu we've heard many times break from uh... from male abusers
lesson that my wife was getting out of line she was yelling at me she stretched
her hand
to hit me what does it mean she stretched ur stretcher and
and pat robertson
without knowing anything about what's going on in this guy's life is saying
wasn't you can't let him get away with that stuff which gets us through what
ladies and gentlemen
they get this where pat robertson talks like the husband
is kind of like the parent of course and the woman
the white is always kind of like the child she can be allowed to get away
with things lewis
the husband needs to reprimand the wife and make sure that she's raised
data discipline when she came to the woman lewis she can get away without i
didn't really uh... i i didn't
that from what he said if pat robertson entire career we think of it
yeah i think uh...
now robert i mean first of all of the references lum is completely absurd
background that we should be the focal point of this congress which will get
back to it
so so that was absurd just the idea of uh... simply by virtue of claiming to be
a moslem you're going to be your life
and that it's okay that
exactly but then separately from that i
completely rude to date on this abuse this is what he said he said for years
decades pat robertson is built a career a multi-million dollar industry based on
in partly idea
that uh... women can get out of line and many people in lima peoples
you know i don't know
health and we condone wife beating these days but some say love the dundee to
make her physically there they go
i don't know how that the bridal bad still both different
toned it if i just don't know that we can go and liked being which if we did
would be a perfectly reasonable way of resolving this dispute
but you gotta figure out the way to solve this thing was
dot changes to normally have to denounce and right i mean he was just seen on a
state with this guy and he's now saying well you know it would be great if you
crude beat your wife because you get a keeper in line because of the husband
you kind of the guy in charge
but we don't really condone that these days wearers mit romney whereas mit
romney denouncing pat robertson i haven't seen it
it's not like this is the is the thing pat robertson says that makes it mirror
miyuki denouncing we could we could play ten shows audio clips for pat robertson
on things that would be make him uh...
denounce wordy right but uh...
that this is this is mild compared to some of the stuff he said said however
could timewise it corresponds with his guiding on stage would never i i still i
still think it can only help around me too
to campaign with parents and they have this door smith
all right well if there's any more indication that the republican right
wing conservative uh... tea party extremist whatevers
are really getting frantic and desperate over the did the very possibility very
real possibility that mit romney might not be brocco bob and the november
election
we're now seeing things like for example this clip of rush limbaugh
saying that they will be economic collapse
if president obama is reluctant reelected look take a look at what rush
limbaugh had to say about this lewis
from when you get this country has assembled let me ask you this loves this
country have obama wins
but
we are headed
toward an economic collapse
at work
restarted the leader of the world when it happens dot us
but there are reverberations all over the world it's not like some hold on to
the european country
collapsing
let's analyze this
first of all
there's so many layers here we could do a week as shows unjust that thirty
second clip from rush limbaugh because first of all
podunk european countries
that's where one let's let's get that but that aside
this fear mongering
first of all is
fear-mongering about if president obama selected but the number two is that
any idiot
who has any idea what's been going on in this country the last the last three and
a half years
and what went on in this country economically they eight years prior to
that would know that suggesting
that info bomb is re-elected that there's going to be an economic collapse
goes against every economic indicator and you know what later today
was the book later today we're going to be talking
the bobcat recorded wrote a book about exactly that so will get the facts
stocks
today again hitting an all-time high
corporate profits
all-time high
jobs being recovered
look at the rate of job loss and now job gains that we're seeing
compared to when george w_ bush was in office a look at any economic graph
color coded for well but the program
and and tell me where from that you get that there's a chance of an economic
collapse
if president obama is re-elected
is rush
uninformed
or is it just fear-mongering first that others who are uninformed
he's rush limbaugh fear-mongering ok this is his and entire
strategy
over knows what he's doing
doesn't really matter what do you is easy train people like eighty it doesn't
matter if he's informed and when you watch rush say this stuff
case training you like an idiot he's treating you like you don't know what
the reality is
of the economy incredible
uh... one of the story i want to get through this been a fatal border
shooting where u_s_ border patrol agent fire across the border
and killed the mexican mexican citizen it's all alleged but there is video and
there's a number of of of uh...
uh... there's a number of eye witnesses although we know eyewitness testimony is
not always individually the most uh... most reliable
the f_b_i_ and border patrol investigating this what apparently
happened is that there was a u_s_ asian patrolling
the rio grande who was in a boat
he fired his weapon across the border because that somebody was throwing rocks
at him from the mexican side
of the uh... river shore
and ont he uh... the that u_s_ border patrol agent shot and killed in that now
the there's a number of different issues here number one is legally what happens
in this case number two is
is uh... uh... shooting appropriate use of force when someone is throwing rocks
at you now we're gonna get some video this actually got on the phone today
with a friend of mine who's a border patrol agent
in this area
and ask them what is the deal with the rock-throwing with than what is the what
do what your reaction to this and said listen
rock-throwing can mean a number of things if there's someone across the
border throwing pebbles at you
she shooting them is not an appropriate retaliation
at the same time if you have someone from an elevated position who's going
pretty heavy rocks at you
you really have no intermediate force that you can use firing a warning shot
first is probably the appropriate thing
and then shooting back is is not totally inappropriate given that you may be out
there by yourself
you don't know what's going on you don't know if they're trying to drive you
enter or hit your vote so that you're stopped and then you get shot you don't
know you're out there by yourself and you're not there
to be uh... to be assaulted
that's not what your job its so that being said
our friend indicated that
discretion must be used
and uh... in any case anytime there is one of these shootings
that there is an investigation and it's not just like today is the core nobody
cares
that being said louis let's get to some of this video here the story that's
being told by local media
is that
what was taking place there was that people started yelling from the mexican
shoreline that there would be individual who is a legally trying to swim across
her in the river
was in danger of being drowned if the
u_s_ border patrol boat continued approaching him the rock growing in
young started as a result of that
and then the shots came so initially let's take a look
and i apologize for this audio this is the joys of the bus
what we can see here
is the vote approaching and this is being filmed for the mexican side
and the book continuing to approach
and as you can see people the kind of looking to see what's going on there
things that really crazy
when things continue to escalated this is when the shots were fired and people
start screaming let's get to that part
and a big commotion sort of get a little more audio
and then the bust
the of testimonies about this one is that
as soon as the shots came from the u_s_ border patrol side
u_s_ poor and and uh... it was yelled that did killed a man border patrol
basically just disappeared
others say that border patrol retreated because of the rock throwing that was
taking place
i really don't know what to think about this on the one hand
is shooting someone inappropriate retaliation for rocks being thrown
on the other hand
you threw rocks at people with guns
what do you think is going to happen
on the other hand
there's amid a lot of ways to look at this
yeah uh...
we have no idea what was going through the head of the person here i know when
her friend said uh...
u_k_ here
he was on level ground
and uh...
r_b_c_ these people were not throwing massive boulders
uh... forty fifty feet at onto this book
not impossible judging by the video so i doubt these rocks for a very big what
about the argument of self defense and of of a third person in other words that
the man in the river would be drowned
by run over by the boat itself and that the rocks were thrown to i'll try to
move the boat away if you will
i don't think
it's and there is the goal
all of the agents used to drown the man in the rivers probably just trying to
grab empire i don't think that uh... he was intentionally trying to stick your
meredith
if there's a risk of a man jamming distracting the guy in the boat
by throwing rocks at was probably the last thing you want to what do you think
about this i want to hear what you have to say we're gonna keep an eye on the
investigation and see what's determined
uh... email us go to our website david dot on dot com contact us or through
twitter facebook or youtube any of that stuff what do you think about this one
let us know comment on the video on youtube as well
on today's boat show we'll talk about
the alleged real cost of that electric chevy bull and g_i_ general motors no
disputing that
as well as how the taliban is using pictures of attractive women and social
media
to gain information from uh... the u_s_ and its allies
and plenty more you've got to get the book uh... david aquent dot com slash
understands you know
david paknet dot com
welcome back to the david championship i've got a new member of the day to tell
you about they made possible in part by liberal bias dot com not only do we have
liberals here on earth
but now you have to worry about liberal bias in space this thing galaxies are
mocking conservative values
and tricking scientist into thinking that the universe is millions of years
old of course we know luis it's only six thousand years old they can find out
more about
outerspace liberal bias
at liberal bias dot com today's new member of the day lewis
alka smith alka smith
is a new david packard remember
and if absolutely fantastic health aboard and uh... thank you thank you so
much alka and to all david paquette remembers it's interesting name okra
actual in
i wonder what the uh...
ethnic origin of that is
i've no idea
let's follow up on circumcision we had to pay story a couple of weeks ago
i like the picture
we had a story a couple of weeks ago about um... about circumcision and a new
study which said that we now have a a determined that
the uh... risks of circumcision do not outweigh what are the benefits in terms
of reduced uh... uh as t uh...
urinary tract infections
lower risk of s_t_d_'s et cetera now we had an incredible amount of feedback
about this people saying
the study itself is flawed because it was only it was really heavily skewed
towards african countries that
artful uh... depart aware enough
of proper hygiene techniques for un circumcised uh... genitals
a lot of different questions a lot of accusations that lewis's in eighty eight
even though he said people
who think that general female genital mutilation
being like circumcision means they are eighty eight's and there were a lot of
ad hominem spin thrown around their jumper absolutely fabulous you know
so we got a ton of feed back about this and not just about to start with a
couple things number one i got a voicemail about circumcision
let's take a listen to that one first
uh... just wanted to start your comment about the circuses for you gary full
disclosure i am jewish
so i'm i just wondered if they uh... hepatology like let me stop you right
there
is that a problem right there guys for this discussion that it's being that
that why does he have to disclose that he's jewish
because you
when you do your there is the presumption that you are circumcised
okay bud so there is also the idea that we can just have a fact-based discussion
about circumcision that it is tinged by
whether you were jewish or muslim it staged or whether your circumstances not
though i disagree i think that the problem with this is that
uh... it makes it seem like this time i believe what he believes only because
he's religious right
well anyway were
let's continue let's continue
levy
subconsciously biased because
vision kitchen point nippon printed to the debate the fact that there is a long
tradition
that should not be brought to the date that they should be based purely on
medical science
and and and action are karne religion and
so yeah that that's basically what exactly did rosa parks to state that
uh...
carriage
students who have other circumcision doug based optional nonreligious reasons
i think that might be a good debate etc
yet dash appear on might be issued it should be done in my life truly poor
medical treatment and if you could be good for religious reasons at the very
least we can agree that removing healthy
uh... garages tissue
aren't should only be done for scientific and medical purposes and and
religion should play no part impact kind of uh... ok so in a town with a reaction
to that
uh... solar let me just are not by saying i'm not very passionate about
this issue i think it's
pretty much a a non-issue
overall i don't think it's very important hello what sense and that if
people want to have their children circumcised they do it if they don't get
it well all of wealth is the following the tradition argument or the religion
argument
is a valid one in this case it's not in itself
a reason to support something because there could be horrible things the
religions u
because of scripture
it's relevant because sensor is than any scientific evidence that they that
there's no consensus
that says the circumcision damages the body
there's no consensus
and we should air on the side of conservatism and let people do what they
want
that's what i'm saying
okay that's fair the okay let's all continue in the new react to the next
thing that i got
a email from pamela saying listen
i have a *** female us perspective on this
circumcision should be mandatory
it's cleaner it's more hygienic and let's face it
it's more attractive so pamela as a as a female
taking the
ecstatic point of view
on circumcision louis is but what do you think about that do you guys is that
almost considering circumcision like a plastic surgery
iffy
idea sounds like you that the more attractive part is just a year
an opinion here ammunition she's basically saying it's it's cleaner more
imaginative which are believed to be true we we also received any emails from
women saying that they should be done so yeutter way america is just another
email but know that it shouldn't be done not because of the aesthetic port point
of view this was the one email character
then he has millions of deaths over the last thing i want to get to is brad from
tarzana sent me a kind of hypothetical morality with my comedy type question
which is that so i think it would be a perfect time to propose to lewis
says he's so dismissive of the brutality
and thinks people who compare circumcision two female circumcision are
idiots i would agree that there is a difference between the two for this
scenario will assume all health benefits from the study we cited are true
realistic sample here's an example a twelve-year-old or fat
is adopted by family who decide that they want to haven't circumcised for the
medical benefits the boys adamant that he doesn't want the procedure done but
his parents are resolute in their decision
is this child abuse
but twelve year old does not know what's best for him
okay still still a minor
and is still
up until what age do the parents get to decide
whether the kid has a circumcision or not
i'd say when you're legally adult adult but at the same time
uh...
uh... i i i might say something like like sixteen fifteen sixteen so you're
sixteen years old their parents say it's time to be circumcised you have no say
because you're not a legal adult
it's tough
i mean
their deferment yuri levels here to and it's it's hard to draw that line from
the time how do you think that process this quest by i completely think that
you it's very hard to draw this line but i also think that the difficult in
drawing the line doesn't mean that we should band circumcision
okay
let's keep the comments coming is a fascinating discussion
uh... and before we move but onto our interview
we happen to have another *** related story
this is incredible lewis of florida man accidentally shot himself in the ***
my testicles wall claiming to be cleaning his gun an eighteen year old
man named michael swri glial
shot himself in the *** in testicles at a party
imports of pork port saint lucia florida
while cleaning a recently purchased gun this is very strange to me for a number
of reasons
because number one why is everyone always cleaning their guns like it seems
to be so common to claim your queen you're gone
whenever someone does he really wants to use it whenever somewhat i think that
whenever someone does something really stupid with a gun the claim is always
there or cleaning the gone now
someone who knows more about them than i do say that there was a cleaning his gun
he was practicing quick draws from his waist that
and hit the trader
as you pull it out and shot himself in the ***
probably because it's it's highly unlikely that you're going was loaded
while you were cleaning it
so bitterly how do you do have to be something seriously wrong with you
if they're really cute and you could it be that he was just like polishing the
outside
and was kind of holding it down like this and that normal
it's not normal
uh... it's stupid
no i would say that he was probably practicing quicker allison we need more
guns as conservatives say everyone would be safer if we had more guns for example
if this man's *** had been carrying its own gun it would've been able to
defend itself by extending its ground in accordance with florida law
or years ran one of those special live *** flak jackets
would you say that this guy was kind of going up at cocked
we can't say that is done probably had a hair-trigger is that fair
their governments pet
all right very very weird set anytime anyone gets shot but again
a lot of gun cleaning going on wide
why does the gun have to be cleaned so much it's just very strange and wise
appointing a people's pain
while cleaning young you should
you should keep it clean so that is improper working work this story is kind
of related to the circumcision story and cleanliness and hygiene in some way in
more ways than i think we're aware
probably more than your average circumcision me
let's take a break great interview coming up after the break break with bob
that trick
stay tuned face book dot com slash david packard should join us on face book a
lot of a high in the scenes pictures on their back after this
the david madman shelves and david jacqueline dot com
welcome back to the david adventure
joining is bob that trick co-owner of players financial partners in columbus
ohio and also coauthor of
bowls bears and the ballot box which i have great year cole written by bob as
well as lou goldfarb a bob as you know we talked about your book a couple of
weeks ago on the show and it's fascinating to me because of i've been
making the case based on the numbers that i've looked at
for many many years that number one
stocks perform far better under democratic presidential administrations
then republican ones
and job creation seems to do better
under democratic
presidential allot lucky uh... uh... administrations then republican now in
the book
you go not only into stocks and job creation but you actually look at its
eleven or twelve
economic indicators comparing
party in the white house tell us a little bit about the book and then we'll
get into the specifics
well lou earlier is about this position it uh...
we we believe that individuals they did focus
on voting for the role of whatever their pocketbook as opposed to
will be used on a permanent
uh... nonsense is out there sometimes sana bhai really believe that people
ought to vote
further are either for or
r_j_r_ there
or three b_ plan or further so that our response when i'm planting if they're
going to college
uh... that that that kind of as the course of the book that people need to
go to their economic interested
select start i think the best place to start with what's been in the news so
much in this presidential campaign
talk a little bit about jobs and the history of job creation across
presidential administrations
well i really jumped bridge over last eighty years of eggs is interesting you
know
uh... integrated development at the spoke about and in the beginning of the
state or his speech last wednesday at the convention
is that there has been beverages showing more jobs created with democratic
persons you know in the white house ever
elegance
and mostly would ever know that uh... gathered at the most people believe
in this uh... myth that republicans are better stores of the economy because
they bring
greater visit the security in india accurate to the table but the reality is
that that is not been became x everything a look at the the last eight
years we actually had about thirty million jobs of thirty million more jobs
created by a democratic president
review ordered open
then we have with republican presidents have been to help okay now how are you
measuring that because where i think that you know the numbers to me are
pretty black and white where i'd seen sometimes
uh... those on the right right askew these numbers are by saying well you
really you've really got to figure out
how far after a president has left office do we still attribute those jobs
to than as opposed to the successor read any ad that based on how long did it
take policy take effect
so how did you do that in the book
well we don't believe in the social lag time if you do it but you take a look at
it
but any c_e_o_ of of of a major company in this country any manager of a small
team
if he had his religion regardless of the circumstances he where she may hear it
their response to what happens on
we watched and we believe the but that is true jurong reached reaches through
for president
uh... that this is a flight time works very well if you have your republican
if you wanted to have a trick
therefore your legs on the republican numbers look much better then those
uh... with democratic president we display the beds are non assistance in
fact
the republican said in their convention
uh...
two weeks ago that
and all the governors step oakland tuesday night and said you know we're
responsible was happened last year and a half two years
incompleted ensure that the other day that the president needs to be
responsible rebecca what happens on his watch
let's talk a little bit about the stock market because interestingly enough last
thursday on the day the president obama actually gave that d_n_c_ closing speech
stocks i believe it was the s_s_ indy five hundred hit a four-year higher the
highest point during president obama's presidency today i believe the dow jones
industrial average is again expected it to close at its highest level since i
wanna say two thousand seven if i'm not mistaken historically our
what do the numbers look like in terms of stock market gains have been looking
at each party
a good good
question nai
brought along with him being a bottle of things but you know you surely can't
fall
uh... him for how well the stock market reforms and she came into office
bypassing the stimulus bill and i was it
terrible name for an end in february of two thousand nine
with a few weeks a week and finally established before the market to the
market to drop any further also the all the rescue plan which basically saved a
chrysler and g_m_ and general motors established force in order to draw for
the market drop as low as six
teresa sony is indeed
as low as sixty seven hundred and change on the dow we don't stand today at
thirteen thousand three hundred and fifty of change work about
eatery three points uh... as a as a speech in the d_s_p_ is also up to its
highest level since
that's falling ought to remember two thousand seven
so indian blessing three-and-a-half years we saw the market more than double
that's all we have been one of the timing blasted here's that was during
the very beginning about the arsonist ridge
so in a sense it's fair to say that we've seen almost unprecedented stock
market growth under president obama
that's correct english is record corporate profits
also i don't one thing that
that that uh... democrats or republicans or given credit for spout well major
corporations are don
implies period of years
and we see major into some of us corporate profits and corporate numbers
on wall street that we've seen in history in the last three have your
since he took office
it's fascinating because the book and again the book is bulls bears on the
ballot boxes because bob that trick was one of the office of the book
it's incredible because of so many of the things that the book points out in
black and white just looking at numbers
are things that you would imagine given the republican narrative on what is a
good indicator of whether the economy is doing well and i would be things they
would be touting i mean for example we've heard from republicans for a long
time now
that high corporate profits and high stock returns
trickle down so to speak
to uh... due to the middle class in the lower class
uh... if anything if if you want to look at these numbers and then say where are
the jobs even though that's a separate question
wouldn't it be proof that the trickle-down isn't happening because we
have record stock market gains and corporate profits
well i share stayed at the neutral period is really the supply-side theory
that or *** came up with
in the early eighties and at the end of it for you
wearable clothes that there is a session net if you're going to just one-sided
equation the supply-side if you're going to order them and so i think we can all
get you're making a good cues mistake
wouldn't make sense is when we have spline equilibrium with the meant
uh... as close as possible
if yours focus on uh... well here folks
and and and not on that would be middle class which has indeed been tobacco in
this country
for the last sixty seventy eight years
again accused mistakes being made
now as a financial advisor
your interest in it is in the year clients doing well with their
investments right so added if there was evidence that they were doing really
well under republican policy in republican administrations historically
certainly would have no reason to high better to duluth those numbers because
you're you're in the business of helping people make money is that right
that's second-rate incorporating reserve i decided to this
were hindering david was
into housing when we went to the second crash in as many eight years under
george w_ bush i thought was important to get to the bottle
what had happened and why did happen
uh... radio today was billed among many other things in our car boot
as we've had five major crashes in the stock market last eighty years
from her director george that the bush
and you did a every single one of those were the bargain is called the crash
thirty people ever serve more
happen with a republican president
so we have unfortunately is this cir prism boom and bust with republican
presidents we seem to have a greater degree of consistency
predictability stability with democratic presidents
they most like linus was work let's do effect one more consists persist in
their lives
and um... delivery did that more or with democratic ***
all right we've been speaking with bob that rick co-author of bulls bears and
the ballot box which i have here with me
uh... how performance of our presidents has impacted your wallet it's a great
read
really great to talk to you about
my pleasure thanks so much for everyone agreed we presume to be on again
sometime
okay let's take a break stay tuned for five more coming up on the day the
package
heated technician
candied happened dot com
staff
this david jack mentions and even package dash class please support david
patent related coming a member of david happen dot com slash membership pennies
a day at had a great benefits and it goes straight supporting the david
patten show
of republican congressman roscoe bartlett
from maryland
says that
federal student loans are really just the slippery slope
that could lead to
all the way down that slope must be dent's evers size slope
to a holocaust
very very strange common folks listen to what he had to say
interesting stuff the ideas not great i'd apologize in advance
dishonored news luxor
than or constantly
mara who lauren
there are more
start them well
there's uh...
what weird thing income from talking about student loans to
you know you're ignoring the constitution to how many germans uh...
live in our country
to the holocaust very strange and pasta it's all relevant because we all know
luis
if it's alleged in the holocaust the female body can just shut down the
entire student loan and that's it that's the end of it you don't have to worry
about it anymore
apparently you can shut down the gas chamber to
yeah it's just the other thing down if it's not legitimate
this could just be like senility or something like that
the other thing is federal spending on education is constitutional
peery amidst a brilliant
if everyone it engage and in his insanity
it is constitutional the man
when identify consumer thing not only is a constitutional if he really thought it
was unconstitutional
you can file a complaint how you can sue the government
and if it really is unconstitutionally will go to the supreme court were an
appeals court actually be ruled unconstitutional
nearby all those liberal
supreme court but that's what he was
always had
uh... bartlett and house republicans still voted to eliminate pell grants for
more than a million students the republican party has promised to undo
the student loan reform signed into law by president obama
what's a better example of stimulative spending than at education for people
who will bend go on to be more productive in their lives earn more
money
pay more taxes allowed the u_s_ to better compete worldwide
that sounds really horrible let's give tax cuts and these people innovators to
be inventors creators say neolithic tax cuts the rich people instead
pretty that'll work was put in the bangor trickle-down it'll trickle-down
to the from the bank too
interest
in their same bank accounts big trickle
more like a
into their own account yan upward rocket is it's like a reverse gravity trickle
batista's right there thing actually
zero gravity in exactly
all heil inmate michael keenan has been freed after spending twenty four years
on death row waiting to be executed
he was freed after i would judge dismissed the *** charge against them
yet had her one of these bizarre stories lewis
we know what it what we know
death penalty is not a deterrent
texas man innocent was executed in the last few years
not a deterrent
texas man was executed he was innocent
not integer annular what else is there
uh... that's that's pretty much it
a catholic priest this is an incredible story
who befriended
this is incredible
there were two people who were convicted here it was michael keenan as well as
john gambrell shall okay
they were convicted of killing tony clan in nineteen eighty eight big long
maintained their innocence and a catholic priest befriended ambrosia
island prison
and was convinced that his innocence he worked with lawyer they uncovered
evidence that was favorable to both defendants
that was withheld by county prosecutors
the evidence included police statements that concluded that kl and could not
happen
at the location
where the only eyewitness said the killing took place as we know i witness
testimony increasingly uh... are particularly unreliable
but here it even further than that police hiding
exculpatory evidence so this is emblematic of the broader problems with
the death penalty a hundred and one people between nineteen eighty nine and
twenty twelve we're slated to be killed by the government before eventually
being exonerated by evidence
the thing is some will say will listen
they were eventually exonerated
yet that's in part because of the automatic appeals process which allows
for this information to be uncovered
and the solo inefficient
way that a lot of the prison systems operate not because of any great virtues
of the above the system itself
we know people have also been executed who are innocent and i like the texas
guy we talked about it happens absolutely
netanya one of the timing on this
uh... now
this is infertile
however you want to china
bit that no training at let's get to voicemail lewis we've got the one voice
mail to play here
of course the voicemail line is open twenty four hours a day two one nine too
david p colin beavis your voicemails we'll take a listen to this
uh... daryl
observing
o'connor bodog
uh... earns a lot of talk about
is heat
on the line and campaign law
they go on and on about what americorps
what america
really watching allegedly
whenever queries about
gay marriage
taxes
you know olaolu
bela lugosi
hot-button issues
reply workshop and while many says
well i don't wanna talk about that and a lot of i want to get into that
well my thing is that
you truly believe
that all these various minority gate black what have you non-believer a hit
if these people are truly
are tiny sliver of departure
and that you are truly
speaking or you know the bulk of america then why are you still scared to open
your mouth we're
number one
is that
when you ask people to respond to talking points and political strategists
framing thick for example government run health care
people respond
negatively
when you ask people fairly
do you believe the government has a responsibility to provide everybody
with a certain basic level of health care
people say yes overwhelmingly sixty six percent even more in some polls
so number one is
when you actually asked people about policy as opposed to buzz words and
political framing his
romney and ryan don't represent what people want the other side is that the
republican side has done really good job of getting people to vote against their
own best interest so
it's a very clear what people want
because republicans are getting you to vote against it's a campaign of
misinformation
but uh... at the same time we can't expect anyone who's speaking publicly
stuck about anything other than the main talking points which is what they're
gonna do everytime no question about absolutely
couple of emails i got on the topic of president obama being bear hug dead
lifted whatever you call it by a florida republican who owns a pizza shop
who is voting for obama you know that if you picked up mit romney they would have
been security all over the guy because it would have been to gay in the eyes of
the media
yeah you're probably right
you prior right and you know there will be a segment on fox and friends tomorrow
with a caption under this that says
is old bomb on muslim and today
yet and see that one but i wouldn't do it make me back and i'll ask southerly
right
and apparently the skies yelp pages getting blasted by republicans because
of his treachery
there was a huffington post article about this today
where the pizza shop but this guy owns is getting killed in the yelp ratings
because a pep rally republicans don't like
but this guy's saying i'm a republican i voted for obama in two thousand eight
and voting for him this time republicans not liking they're probably also unaware
that uh... he actually
received the more of a tax break that he would have
under mccain probably yet
fifteen percent of all how republicans crediting mit romney instead of
president obama
for the assassination
about some of the mob
well you know what they say you can never underestimate the stupidity of an
average american
i actually think that that's rub the wrong way to go about it
uh... i think that if you with if you really look at
what thomas frank and many others have written about the importance of language
it's fine if we think that you've just got to be flat out stupid to to say that
making that accusation is not really going to help
democrats win i think you need to be different strategy probably
and typical liberals don't want a credit romney for something he didn't do
unbelievable vision
the act gay incredible though those those dumb liberals
and the headline to this video 'cause could just as well about fifteen percent
of our republicans are in the souls
how could rom you've said have had any say in how bin laden was preceded killed
he was a governor had no power over armed forces
and didn't deal with military strategy at all
yet we get that but the uh... with i didn't even think it needed this much of
an explanation this is a part of the accurate explanation
gore's romney was actually governor
when been line was killed
uh... but uh... listen let's be honest
if he'll realize what a poll result is absurd
meeting a couple lines about it is not really how i still think that the
majority of the people who
put that down on this
uh... surveyor to goof did as a coup for did it because they they could become a
day that i don't remember so that the show doesn't and now but you get the
bonus show next monday afternoon three fifteen pm eastern we'll have a member's
deal colin if you are david package remember you can join us after the show
