Now that you have your Future Proof terminal, let’s quickly run through how to troubleshoot
your printer. If your receipts are not printing and a “no
paper” error displays on your terminal screen, open the paper compartment and check for any
jammed paper. If there is a paper jam, simply remove the
paper roll and reload with the paper feeding from the bottom of the roll and a small amount
of paper pulled out … just like this. Next, press and hold the yellow back key to
feed the paper. If the paper is printing blank – with no
transaction data on the receipt – make sure you are using thermal sensitive paper and
that the paper roll is loaded properly. And remember, the paper feeds from the bottom
of the roll with a little extra paper sticking out.
