GD: Please what is your name?
My name is Kwame Mensah
GD: How did you hear about the president's death?
Kwame: I was selling coconuts at Ridge at about 4pm when I saw an ambulance and two private cars speed toward 37.
There were two policemen who were buying coconuts from me at the time and one of them remarked that it was an emergency. I responded that at that speed, it was most likely to be a senior member of Government.
About 30 minutes after, it started drizzling and I heard of the President's demise. I inferred that he was probably the one in the ambulance. I had goosebumps all over and closed shop for some time.
I am an NDC member so I am really saddened by his death
GD: In times like this, being NDC, NPP or PPP, we all stand united as one and grieve.
GD: What message do you have for Ghanaians in this time of sorrow and grief?
Kwame: My advice for Ghanaians is to be strong and united in these difficult times
Thank you. Thank you.
