Another study is showing just how important it is for kids to get fresh air and away from
the screens. I'm Rachelle Grossman with your latest health news. Researchers found that
children and teens who played outside after school the most are nearly three times more
likely to achieve the recommended daily minimum of one hour of moderate-to-vigorous physical
activity each day. These students spend less time sitting and have healthier hearts and
lungs. Researchers believe schools and parents need to consider structured outdoor play time
and encourage your child to get active outside after school.
