I have both sides cut out, number 2 and number 3, and if you lay them here on the pattern,
you notice that this piece of glass kind of goes off into the head. I scored those pieces,
but it's a little bit hard for the breaking pliers to break that off, so now we're going
to grab our grozers. Remember the curved side always goes on the bottom, the flat side is
the top. And I'm going to take and just really gently take this part. Actually, let me show
you where that cut is because you probably cannot see that there, and I'll just mark
where that score line is. So it's just that little bitty part that I'm going to be breaking
off of there on each side. Just very gently take a corner and now the score is on the
top, okay, and you're going to hold your piece and you're going to break down with your grozer,
so, like that, and that brought that piece out. Don't worry about any sharp edges right
now, because that is what we're going to use our grinder for when we get to that part of
the process of making our stained glass piece. Sometimes little pieces will shatter, please
be careful. I know I'm not wearing gloves but I've been doing this for, well I don't
really like to wear them. But don't use your hands to wipe off your table, always use your
brush. Make sure your work surface is clean so that you don't scratch or cause your glass
to run a wrong way when you're scoring your glass. So here you have it! We have these
two pieces now ready to put on our butterfly.
