What a week we've had at the HSBC Champions here at Mission Hills.
What a leaderboard we had on the final day, all the great players and the man who finished on top,
was Ian Poulter, Ian many congratulations.
You've had big wins before in your career, but I imagine this is pretty special.
Yes, this is very special, my second WGC victory.
This thing will look very nice sitting next to the one I've already got.
It was big week. It was a big win.
I felt that I've played well this year and I needed to come out the back end of the year, get a win,
I haven't got many years without winning a tournament and I didn't want to go this one without.
The whole week, you've been involved in lots of things, working with HSBC,
here just a few days ago, you were making some poor noodles.
- Now you're standing here with the trophy, quite a week! - It's been an amazing week.
HSBC put on fantastic golf tournaments
their continued support in golf is incredible.
They are making the tournament bigger and better next year.
So it's going to be recognized by the PGA tour
and hopefully that will attract an even bigger field than this year.
We talked earlier in the week
about you trying to convert Ryder Cup Ian Poulter into big tournament winning Ian Poulter.
- It seems to be coming together now. - It is coming together, it is hard.
That mindset I have in Ryder Cup is hard to repeat in stroke play events
but hopefully the last couple of weeks
with the good work I've done on the golf course is going to put me part of the way there.
Many congratulations He is the 2012 HSBC Champions Champion, Ian Poulter.
