Hey, Urban Nature Man here, and for all my friends who run into stinging nettle,
and gotten all those nice little burning bumps when you hit it...
there's actually a natural cure and it's a plant that like to grow right next to stinging nettle.
here, I'll show you. Uh...
This a stinging nettle,
so what I'm going to do,
I'm gonna pick a little piece,
Off.
Gotta figure out how to hold this thing.
Then I'm going to just rub it right here.
On my wrist.
And unfortunately I don't react very well to this.
I think because I've been stung so many times at this point that I just kind of
my skin's like "Eh, whatever." Crap.
Oh, there we go. We're getting a little burn there.
So you can see the very beginnings of the bumps right in there.
I'm going to grab some of this chickweed here. And chickweed is great for
burns and bug bites all kinds of things, including stinging nettle.
I'm going to take it and just rub it right here. And it's got a sort of a
cooling feeling to it.
And it's actually amazing as I'm doing it, I can feel the burning going away.
Squish it up real good.
So there we go.
Uh, we'll check in in a couple of minutes and it'll just uh... The bumps and the redness
should just be gone.
So now I've been walking for just a couple minutes, and as you can see
the redness is gone, there's still a couple of lumps, but they're starting to reduce as well.
And all the itching and burning is completely gone.
So if you run into stinging nettle, grab some chickweed and rub it on.
