We're you smart? They say you are smartest at fourteen years old. They say what? You're
smartest at fourteen years old. Your IQ peaks. IQ, mensa people. Fourteen? Fourteen. That's
man when I was fourteen I could remember everything. Alright, when I. Do you feel your smarter
now? No uh much yeah. Smart wiser maybe, more discerning. I wasn't even raw IQ I don't I
wasn't even checked in to being alive until my mid twenties. I'm not joking, I was like
zoned out really. Well that you are maybe an exception to the rule. So but you knew
cause I think of you right now as a very smart guy very smart, when we have conversations,
my I'm wow. You have a lot of knowledge. And you were that way, when you were growing up.
I think. Why? Man your minds more clear. I think now, in some ways, I'm probably more
interesting to talk to because I've seen more stuff. I've been to fifty one countries, I've
read thousands of books by now. But in terms of just raw brain power, I think I was smarter
but who knows. Did you do like an IQ test? Yeah I did one when I was young? What did
you score. Can't tell you that. Come on. Like what's what is it. I think now they look I
got into mensa mensa used to be one forty minimum now they've lowered it a little bit
I'm not sure why I think they want more membership dues. I'm gonna guess that you scored very
high. I scored pretty high compared but I know people waste more man. IQ is a weird
thing. I have one friend. He's the smartest dude I've ever his head is literally big.
But Warren Buffet says if you have more than one hundred twenty IQ then you might as well
sell the rest. You don't need it to get rich. The average person, millionaire, is not that
high. It's higher than average but not super super high. My friend uh some of my friends
that are so smart they just they can't focus down you know. Being too smart and you can
be weird if you're too smart. Well did your dad say no I want you to go to college? No
he was like don't go to college. Why? I could have gone to MIT all these schools but he
was like Tai you can go to college later man. He's like you'll never get this opportunity
again. wow, so you took you went and had this experience yeah, you worked for him for two
years two and a half years yeah and you learned all about the world of finance. You know in
hindsight what did I learn? I learned I think before you understand life you have to understand
biology. Man if you want to change the world take all kids out of the inner city, send
them to a farm for two years, three years. It's the best thing better than military boot
camp cause it's real life man. I remember when I was like I don't know after there a
year sometimes and I missed this. I used to go walk outside after I ate and I would like
just stick my hand in the earth. And I was like I felt like connected. And sometimes
here in Hollywood it's like you're not connected man to the world and I think you lose perspective.
And if you look at America, what made America great, it was an agrarian society almost every
great person has either grew up on a farm of grew up their parents were on a farm. Agrarian
is agricultural. Yeah, in nineteen, the in year nineteen hundred the turn of the century
ten percent of the world was rural I'm sorry ten percent was urban ninety percent was rural.
Right now today at the turn of the century our century, the twenty first century, it
went opposite. And you lose touch with reality so if you wanna be wise you know you have
to you need to step back because nature teaches you much different lessons.
