One podcasting service you're going to look at and you get to choose
whether you want to use one of the other, is Spreaker.
Go to the link that I have in the resources or google
Spreaker, this is where you're going to end up.
Once again I like to log in from Facebook, so I click that
and that will get me logged in.
As you can see I have some things already. You'll come to a similar page
after you log in.
Remember to try to click down that
"everyone" sees it on Facebook to only you see it on Facebook.
When you're ready to create your podcast you should probably have it
scripted out. So you're not just trying to
do it off the cuff. You're going to click the green broadcast button.
You're going to do this one broadcast with Spreaker's recording
because you're not going to do one somewhere else and upload it. Now if you
choose to use Audacity which you can download and there will be tutorials in
this week's resources. Audacity is a free open source software.
You could use it and upload it here. Click broadcast here. You're
going to give it a title. I'll put "sample podcast"
and hit next.
Now I need to dlick allow saying that I'm giving access to my external

I have to wait while it publishes because at this point you see it comes to this page
and it's saying I haven't taken care of everything. I'm going to hit "edit" because I
haven't put a description or a category.
I can add all of that here and you need to do this anyway so that you can
get ready to share this.

and you can tag it. If I want to tag mine, I might say something like
edtech. You might say something like math our health or English. You don't have to
tag but that is something you can do.
Once you're done adding that information, you've saved it, then you're going to hit
You're gonna go to your dashboard. Now they are at your dashboard, you need
to click the tab that says "you're episodes".
There's the episode that I did so I'm going to click on it. Don't click my
link but just sample podcasts because that's the one I created
and now I'll be able to share it with the sharing button.
