Have you filed your taxes yet?
Music/SFX: Transitional cue Female Voice: Myth: Some people with disabilities do not have
to file a tax return because their income is too low.
Music/SFX: Transitional cue Female Voice: Fact:
Taxpayers with disabilities may actually lose money by not filing an income tax return.
Did you know, one in four Americans are unaware that they qualify
for the Earned Income Tax Credit or E-I-T-C?
Because the EITC is a credit, it can actually reduce the amount of tax you owe
and might also give you a refund!
Visit MyFreeTaxes dot com today to find out if you qualify!
That's MyFreeTaxes dot com.
And remember: Tax refunds are not counted as part of your SSI resources for twelve months
after they've been received -- - even if it puts you over the two thousand dollar limit.
