Ok, so now we're ready to start sewing the piping onto the circular template that we
made that's going to be the side of our pillow. And I'm going to show you how to install this
piping and finish it off with end meeting end to end. Like this. So the first step that
we're going to do, I'm going to show you how to start it and get going. And then we'll
start from there. So I want you to start about an inch in. So you need to leave like a tail
hanging off. Then you need to look up and put the top of the piping cord just about
right on top where our chalk mark is. So we can just jump right on top right there. Do
a little back stitch. And then since it's a circle and this piping is real stretchy.
Since it's cut on the bias. We want to pull it just a little bit. Not way like that. But
just maybe about half as far as you can. And you just want to do the whole thing like that
all the way around. And just lay your cording right on top of the chalk mark. If you lay
it in the same place all the way around, then you know that you have a perfect circle. Here
we go. And just hold and pull it slightly. Not the fabric underneath. Just the piping
itself. There we go. Go all the way around. I'm still laying it right on top of the chalk
mark. There we go. This pillow will be a good little head rest for someone. Maybe for the
back of your neck. Okay, I'm just pulling it slightly still. You don't have to pull
it the same amount and just be totally exact. But one you start working piping, you get
a good feel for how far to pull it and how far not too. There we go. We're coming around
to where we're going to have to end it. And in the next clip I'm going to show you how
to start. How to prep the end to finish it off. And then we'll finish it off. But I'm
going to end just about two inches away from the ending here. And you can measure it if
you want. I'm just going to eye it, and it might be a little bit over. But that's ok.
So in the next clip I'm going to show you how to prep this area to make it meet end
to end. And it's going to look really nice.
