What I'd like to do is show you through the Alde central heating system
It's the 3010 model
Which is fitted in all the Astella range
It is a touch screen model, you initially turn it on by pressing this left button at the bottom here
This will show your current settings, if you want to change these settings
You press the menu button on the right hand side
So you have at the top, starting a the top and working down
You have your temperature control, so you can just
minus the temperature or plus it on the screen
to turn the temperature up or down, if you turn it down to it's lowest position
of 5 degrees, then obviously the heating wont kick in unless it goes below 5 degrees.
So it would just literally use the hot water system.
If you want too boost the hot water system, so you want a shower,
you want the hot water to heat up
It generally heats up to 50 degrees so if you want to boost that to 70 degrees
you turn it on there. This will divert some of the power away from the heating system to boost the water heating system. And you can turn that off there.
Next one down is your wattage control, you have 3 kilowatts fire
and you can have it on 3, 2, 1
or you can turn the whole system off for
off for electric
If you turn it off electric
Obviously you'd probably want to use it
on gas and that's the next step down
And to turn it on you literally just press the on switch,
and if you want to turn it off you press the off switch.
And that's the Alde central heating system
It's worth pointing out that basically it's working off a gycol anti-freeze
which pushes round your system
for the heating, it's controlled by a pump
so it circulates round
the caravan all the time and maintains a very even heat
through all the caravan and often into the washroom
and the towel rail too.
So it's very handy for maintaining a very even non drying heat.
