Recently, touchscreen-based devices like smartphones and tablets have exploded in popularity,
and are rapidly becoming the global standard.
In Japan as well, the “flick” input method has become a part of our lives.
After a little practice, you can input Japanese quickly and intuitively, making it truly indispensible.
But is it really the perfect input method?
At the Google Japanese Input Team, we think there’s still room for improvement.
That’s why we have developed a device that helps make flick input even more accurate and convenient.
And here it is.
Google Japanese Input: Magic Hand Version.
Nails too long to use a touchscreen?
Fingerprints get your screen dirty?
Can’t use the screen while wearing gloves?
Have an injury on your finger or have trouble getting the screen to respond to your touch?
This device solves all of these problems.
Just let the Magic Hand flick your screen for you.
Using it is easy.
Place your tablet in front of the Magic Hand and it will automatically sense the position of the keys.
Grab the joystick and the power will turn on automatically.
It’s now ready to use. Just move the joystick to control the hand.
By combining these controls, you can input Japanese smoothly, and with no loss in speed.
At last, you are free of the myriad problems caused by having to actually touch your touchscreen.
Plus, a variety of customizations are possible simply by switching to a new hand attachment.
A left-handed version for southpaws.
Thumb
and pinkie versions.
A cat’s paw.
A backscratcher.
There will even be a ultimate secret version announced soon.
You can even connect USB input devices such as keyboards.
We even have a mobile version currently under development!
Soon you’ll be able to comfortably use your Magic Hand wherever you go.
Bringing you accurate Japanese input, even on touchscreens.
