Everolimus is a prescription medication called a kinase inhibitor that is used to treat certain
types of cancer in the pancreas, kidney, brain, and breast. It is also used to prevent organ
rejection in adults who have received a kidney or liver transplant.
Everolimus comes in tablet form and as a tablet to dissolve in water. For cancer treatment
it is usually taken once daily, with or without food. To prevent organ rejection, it is taken
twice daily. Common side effects include mouth ulcers,
