Hi everyone and welcome to HippyFitMom the blog for every woman. Today I wanted to talk
about my favorite food and why it is my favorite food....So if you follow me on Instagram then
you probably already know my love for the raw fish...sushi. Yes...just thinking about
it makes me so hungry....but besides sushi being soooo good, there are many benefits
to this Japanese cuisine that can keep you on track in regards to your health and fitness
goals. For one it is Low in calories and if you are
trying to lose weight or even just maintaining your weight it is a great addition to your
diet. Even though it is low in calories I find it very filling in spite of this fact.
Sometimes when you eat low calorie foods they can leave you feeling hungry. It is also A
good source of protein. I know that my body really responds to a high protein diet especially
when I lift weights. Protein can really get you get you that toned body...that we especially
I want. Another great thing about eating sushi is
that it usually is comprised of Whole foods and not processed ingredients which is really
good for our wellbeing. It is always better to eat whole foods because they are usually
more filling and leave you more satisfied. I am typically satisfied after a sushi session
which is very important to me. There is nothing worse than eating a meal and feeling like
I need another meal to feel content. It is also An excellent source of carbohydrates
and protein and is naturally gluten-free. I also love the seaweed salad. If you haven't
tried this traditional Asian dish...you got to try it. It also offers benefits as well.
Seaweed itself helps you to shed fat which as you know...is never a bad thing. But be
careful and know what is used to make the salad especially if you eat gluten free.
There are so many varieties of sushi to choose from so you are certain to find something
that suits your taste. That is all I have for today and until next time...even if you
