Welcome to ClicknPrint. This demo will show you how to print and design your own greeting
Continue to customize your text until you are satisfied with your greeting card message.
Next, you can edit the clip art that will appear on the inside of your card.
You can change the size of the pre-made clip art, or you can delete it entirely.
To insert a new clip art, delete the existing clip art by using the Delete key on your keyboard.
Then, go to the Clip Art category. ClicknPrint features a wide variety of clip art sorted
by holiday and by theme.
Again, you can change the size of your clip art or change the position by dragging and
dropping it.
Use the gridlines feature in the right-hand menu to adjust the contents of your greeting
card with extra precision.
When you are satisfied with the inside of your greeting card, save your template.
Be sure to distinguish this template as the inside for your greeting card.
Now, create a new template. Select the same blank greeting card template as you selected
earlier.
If your printable greeting cards already have a cover design, then you do not need to complete
this step.
Your cover design should go on the lower half of your greeting card template. The upper
half will be the back of your greeting card.
To create a cover, you can use clip art, shapes and lines, or write in your own text. Adjust
your clip art to fit your greeting card cover.
Add decorative shapes or lines by clicking on the Shapes and Lines category.
You can change the outline style of your shape by using the right-hand menu. You can also
change the border color and the inside color.
Make multiple shapes by using the copy and paste icons at the top of the screen.
If you wish to add a message on the backside of your card, rotate your template using the
horizontal and vertical buttons at the top of the screen.
Create a new text box to customize your message.
Use the alignment buttons in the right-hand menu to adjust your text to the right, left,
or center.
When you are finished, rotate your template back to the previous position. Be sure to
distinguish this template as the outside for your card.
When you are ready, click on the Print icon in the top right corner of the screen.
To start, Click on Printer Preferences to make sure that your document is organized
correctly.
Make sure that the orientation is set to portrait and that the paper size is set to the standard
8.5 x 11 letter size.
Make sure that you have the correct printer selected. Print as many copies of your greeting
card cover as you need.
Once you have all of your greeting card covers printed, click on File and then Open to open
the inside of your greeting card.
In ClicknPrint, you can customize up to 10 greeting cards at once. To do this, click
Add New Page at the bottom of the screen.
As you can see, you now have two templates queued at the bottom of your screen.
Simply edit this new template for your next recipient.
When you print, all of the pages you have added will print out sequentially, one after
the other. When you're ready, click Print.
Feed your printed greeting card covers into your printer. Always be sure to print out
a test page first.
When printing greeting cards, this is a very important step because you need to determine
which way to insert your greeting card cover into your printer so that it prints out the
back side correctly.
Be sure to fold your test page in half, like you would a real greeting card, to see if
both sides printed out the way they should.
Thanks for using ClicknPrint! We hope you enjoy using the program.
