We're picking out art glass. And so I just wanted to share with you some of the many
different colors and textures of glass that there are. Right now I have in my hands a
wispy. If you notice, this wispy is a very dark like cobalt blue with white mixed in
together with it. It's somewhat opaque, which means there's not much light that's allowed
through it, but yet you still get enough light to see the brilliant colors of blue in this
glass. There are several different colors and variations of the wispy. I also have,
right here, more of an orange, white, yellow wisp. But this one has a texture on it on
the one side. If you look on the other side, you can see the different colors. Again, that
side is textured. This one is not so textured. You can feel a little bit of the ripple of
the glass, but not much. I also have here some of the more clear or translucent wispy's.
This one here is a pale amber wisp. Again, if you can see some of the waves on the glass
on that side. It's very smooth on the other side. This would be the side that you would
cut on. And then I also have a pale purple wispy. So, as you can see there's several
types of this wispy. Each one has its own unique pattern. And you could do clouds with
this like for a sunset. That, that nice purple haze. And just really enjoy yourself with
your creation.
