your business blog to actually improve your business.
You can write blog posts about all kinds of things, but what I want to focus on right
now is what we call an informational blog post.
By way of illustration, here's one that we published recently on the Straight North blog
called, "YouTube Video Optimization Best Practices". As you can see, this is a very detailed blog
post written by a subject-matter expert that works here at the agency that covers a topic
that is very important, but one that's not widely understood.
When a person who doesn't know anything about Straight North hits this page on our website,
they're going to see right away that Straight North has expertise in video optimization.
They're also going to see that the post was written by an actual person.
They put those two things together, and it tends to make the person feel more comfortable
about contacting us to get more information and to talk about their project.
A business blog is not always about conversation and comments.
Sometimes a purely informational blog post can be a tremendous benefit to your business.
