Hi, this is Jane Entwistle with Expert Village dot com. And I'm Andrew Stubblefield. Welcome
back. And we're talking to you today about improv. Now, who can do improv, and what do
you need to do it? The truth is anyone can do improv. Anyone at all. It's like running.
Anyone can run, but not everyone's going to be an Olympic runner. Just like with improv,
not everyone's going to be a professional improviser, or go on stage and entertain the
masses. But, literally, anyone can do improv. It's easy. And what do you need to do it?
Basically, a safe place to play. That's all you need. I've done improv a bus, hurtling
down one-oh-one. I've done improv on a park, on the end of a pier. I've done improv on
an oil drum. (It was a really big oil drum. And it was empty). I've also done improv with
a pot-bellied pig. Now, I pretty much did all the talking in that scene. But what I'm
trying to say is that improv is accessible to everybody, and that's what we really want
to teach you today. That you, by the end of this, will be able to do improv. And I'm really
excited to be able to teach you that.
