hi everyone. welcome back for another gazelle video. i've had a few people
contact me and request that i do a demonstration
of the gazelle cutting chipboard.
so that's what i'm going to do for you in this video.
i'm using the .022 chipboard that i buy in bulk from c_k_ resale.
i really like their chipboard. it cuts really well.
and again this is the .022 chipboard.
which is roughly a little over half of a millimeter.
i wanna just firm this down to my cutting mat real good.
my cutting mat has been re-stickied
with the alleens tack it over and over.
and i gotta tell you that stuff could hold a buick i think.
im cutting this with the standard gazelle blade
and a single chipboard o-ring to lift the holder up a little bit to prevent
drag marks.
i'm going to cut it with a single pass
i've got my speed on the slowest speed which i always recommend for
chipboard.
and i've got my forced set to 6
which is a little bit less than the maximum force.
and let me just reach over to the computer
and send the design to the
cutter and you can watch it cut.
ok it's all done cutting.
feedit out of the cutter.
this mat is really sticky. i want to lift the chipboard
so as to not bend it.
this cut really nicely. and again that was just a single cutting pass.
this is one of the flourishes
from bosskutdiecuts.com
most of those flourishes
were hand-drawn by mrs. bosskut
let's put this on some white cardstock to give it some contrast so you can see it
better.
i've got a little bit a repositionable adhesive on the white cardstock
to hold these in place.
and there you go!
you've got both a positive and a nega- tive. both pieces could be used in
projects.
decorated with a little bit of ink, paint, embossing powder, glitter...
whatever it is you like to craft with.
now when i edit the video or upload it i'm gonna try to zoom in on this a
little bit so you can see it better.
isn't that nice?!
that's it for this video but check back often. i'll be doing more product
demonstrations
showing you different products that you can cut with the gazelle by boss kut.
as always, happy crafting!!
