On behalf of Expert Village my name is Lizbeth Muller and today I'm going to teach how to
make arroz con pollo. Our sofrito is now starting to boil as you see it is bubbly. Nice and
hot I like it to cook down so the onions and the green peppers can get like really cooked
a little bit more before I put my chicken. So it is on high I'm going to go ahead and
place a piece of the chicken in here. Chicken strips. Again we usually do it you know a
lot of Cuban people, they would tell you they do it with the big chicken pieces. You go
to the real famous restaurants and they have a big leg in there and they have the chicken
breast and they place it in a plate with the rice. But I went ahead and did it this way
it is also easier to pick on the bone and sit there and you know it is just very easy
to pick a nice chunky piece of white meat. Then you know a piece of rice that is just
separating everything.
