Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial!
I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today I'll show an effect that you may use to draw water drops on a window.
We will use the graphite powder produced when sharpening leads.
We get it on the brush and with this we paint an abstract background that will be the view
out of focus, through the window.
It is a good idea to save the powder when you sharpen.
If you are using wooden pencils you can produce it by sanding the tip of the pencil with sandpaper.
You can find the list of materials in the information below the video.
Very well. Now we sketch the shape of the water drop that will be on the glass.
We draw the shadow and on the other side we pull a light with the kneaded eraser.
Or if you don't have a kneaded eraser, you can use a pencil eraser.
We continue in this way drawing water drops in different sizes and shapes.
We may use a stomp if we want to stomp the shadows.
And we continue doing this on all the surface of our window.
By the way, I want to ask you something: If as a result of the tutorials you have a
success story you would like to tell me... what I mean is that if your life has changed in some
way as an artist or in general, or also if you know that the tutorials are being successfully used
in art schools or in a non-for-profit organization, or group, or anything like that,
I would really love to know about it and I would appreciate if you tell me
in the comments section under the video.
Thank you so much.
I hope you liked this simple technique that you may use on your works of art.
If you enjoyed it please give it a like and subscribe to my channel.
You know where to follow me and where the links are.
And I'll see you on Tuesday.
