Now, let's prepare the styrofoam ball to be placed on the windmill, the styrofoam ball
remember is going to be the - at the center of the windmill where all the arms are going
to hang, and the center of the ball also is going to be where the windmill is going to
be spinning, so it's very important that we make a string hole through the ball and this
will help the windmill, the arms all be symmetrical, and give a spin, a nice, quick spin to the
windmill. So we're going to take the styrofoam ball and we're going to take the wooden stick
with a point at the end, and we'll lay it down, get it as straight as possible, and
just slowly push straight down, always concentrating on getting it through the center of the ball.
I always keep an extra styrofoam ball on hand because sometimes this step can be a little
bit difficult if our stick is not perfectly straight or for some reason it doesn't feel
like it's making a nice, straight hole. Sometimes the styrofoam ball also can tear at the -
at the either the entry point or the exit point, so always keep a styrofoam ball, an
extra one on hand. Once it's in you can work it in and out a little bit just to give it
some more room within the styrofoam because the - this ball has to spin, that's what's
going to make the arms spin around, so, we just want to give it a little bit of room
that it should, that it should sit nicely onto the stick, but it also should have enough
room to spin. And this is way that we put the stick through the center of the styrofoam
ball.
