Hi, I'm Mike Chop with ChipEstimate.tv at DAC 2011.
We're here at the GLOBALFOUNDRY booth with King Ou. It's a pleasure to met you.
Tell me a little bit about what you guys are doing here at DAC, and what you've seen that's exciting here today.
Well absolutely. GLOBALFOUNDRIES is here at DAC to really promote our technologies
We're the only company that has global presence
as far as foundries customers across the entire world. we have factories in Dresden
and Singapore. And we're building one in Malta. And in addition to that,
one of the primaries we want to participate at DAC is that we want to expand our
global solutions ecosystem. So when we take a look at what it takes for a customer to be
successful, we recognize that requires a lot of companies.
Not just our company, but companies in the EDA industry, companies in the IP industry --companies in packaging.
And here we have on display, over fifteen companies here
participating with us to provide solutions to customers across a gambit of solutions they need to be successful.
That is definitely is one of the big themes here
especially at your booth. With collaboration
and the work that you're doing with your partners. Can you tell me a little about some of
the exciting things are going with your partnership programs.
Absolutely. One of the key elements that we're doing is certifying the partners
In addition to bring people into the ecosystem, we work collaboratively with them, to make sure
their product solutions are going to be useable by their customers.
So customers don't have negative experiences with them. We recognize that the brand and association
has some value, but we want to make sure that there technical feasibility behind that.
King thanks a lot. Thhank you Mike.
Again we're from live from DAC 2011, from the GLOBALFOUNDRY booth.
Thank you very much.
