American Plumber WICA Ice Maker Filter Hey everyone, Tony the Filter Doctor here.
Today we’re looking at the American Plumber WICA Inline Ice Maker Filter.
Now, though this filter is labeled for ice makers, it will work equally well for any
situation with ¼ inch water lines and a need for filtered water. For example, you could
use it as an external refrigerator filter to filter the water going to the water dispenser
on the front of the fridge. It could be used for coffee and espresso makers, and even as
a stand-alone water filter going to a dedicated drinking water faucet. And, of course, it
could be used as a polishing filter for reverse osmosis systems, so it’s highly versatile.
Now, in all of these scenarios the ¼ inch quick-connect fitting will make for super
easy installation and the granular activated coconut carbon will produce great tasting
water by reducing chlorine taste and odor and sediment.
This filter is NSF Standard 42 certified and has a filter life of approximately 12 months
or 3,900 gallons, whichever comes first. And, of course, filter life will vary depending
on your unique water conditions. Again, this is the American Plumber WICA Inline
Ice Maker Filter with ¼ inch quick-connect fittings.
I’m your host Tony the Filter Doctor, thanks for watching.
