JOEL SIEGEL: All right. So we've talked about the three different basic grips: French, American
and German. The other elements of grip are what your hands are doing in relationship
to each other. The most basic grip is match grip. This is where your right hand your left
hand look the same. So we have the same grip, the same space at the bottom, with thumb and
forefinger at the same place we call the fulcrum, alright? So with your left hand, you're going
to have the same things, the French, which sounds like this, the American, and the German.
