Hello there unboxers! This is Sakis Karpas from GameOver.gr in another episode of Unboxholics.
Today we will take a look at the Xbox 360 version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist The 5th Freedom Edition, Ubisoft's 6th installment to the Splinter Cell series.
The 5th Freedom Edition's retail package features beautiful concept art on it and some product information on the back side.
Let's remove this slipcase and move on with the unboxing...
First of all, the quality of the cardboard box is excellent.
We didn't have a hard time removing the cover since it had openings where our fingers could fit.
Some nice character artwork here as you can see...
The first item we find inside is a steelbook which has a matte surface and some glossy touches. A gorgeous artwork is hidden inside.
Moving on, we find the retail box of Splinter Cell: Blacklist. I am not impressed by the cover since I don't like action shots.
Inside we find two dual layer discs, a bonus codes leaflet, a promotional leaflet for another Sam Fisher figurine and a manual.
Next up we have the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist Echoes, a 96-page graphic novel. This is not the first time that a graphic novel was made for the Splinter Cell series. There are a lot interesting Splinter Cell graphic novels available right now.
We still haven't read it but we think it won't be bad.
Undoubtedly, the most significant item of the 5th Freedom Edition is the 24cm figurine of Sam Fisher.
Overall, the quality of the figurine is good but we were disappointed by the low detail on Sam Fisher's face.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist The 5th Freedom is available now at $99.
We're not sure if The 5th Freedom edition deserves 99 dollars but we assure you that its content is top quality.
