I have been studying up on Goodman furnace reviews since my furnace broke down. I need
a new one, but I am still not convinced if I should get one from them.
Then it falls on me to convince you they're the best I guess. Maybe I'm lucky enough to
manage to persuade you to go out to dinner with me.
Well you know how women are, you just need a bit of swag to get their attention.
Ha ha, I got that. Anyway, getting back to your questions, Goodman is a brand that generally
manufacturers affordable heating equipment.
You started out nicely, go on.
Even their motto actually states that they aim to build the highest quality and most
reliable heating equipment, which is what they eventually manufacture. At least most
of the time.
What do you mean by most of the time? Not everyone is happy?
There is no furnace company that has a 100% satisfaction rating. Goodman is far from perfect,
but overall it is pretty good.
In terms of efficiency, their furnaces range from models with eighty to ninety six percent
efficiency. This means that a 90% AFUE model will use 90% of the fuel and only waste 10%.
That is really good to know. I have always wanted to go for a furnace that won't pump
up my energy bill at the end of the month.
Well then, there's your answer. However, if you live in an area with extreme temperatures,
you may want to go for the super efficient models they have.
What are those?
Well, they come with a 95 percent AFUE rating, which means only 5% of the energy will be
wasted. That’s really amazing to say the least.
What about if I need to repair them? Are the parts expensive?
This is an interesting question. Goodman furnaces are known to have parts that can be easily
found, and replaced without denting your wallet too much.
It's one of the main reasons so many people consider them. On top of that, their furnaces
are designed for a fast and easy installation.
What are some things users did not like about them?
Some have had their units break down within the first year, but this is pretty rare.
So good to hear that. I think I'm already convinced on the furnace I want to get now.
Happy to know I helped!
