My name is Julia Barbee my clothing line is Frocky Jack Morgan and on behalf of Expert
Village this is a tutorial on recycling and deconstructing old clothes. So we are going
to talk a little bit about how to find estate sales, garage sales and what to look for when
you're there. I usually look in the back of papers or online in the classified section
for rummage sales, garage sales and estate sales, Craigslist even has a listing for those.
And then when you're there be creative you might find loose buttons and jewelry and things
like that. Or you might even find a shirt like this and you might want to take the bead
work off of that. You might find a dress like this that you see potential for but you don't
like some pieces be willing to just rip those things apart. Or see the potential for things
like this and be willing to haggle the price, people kind of expect that, I think it's always
good to try and get a deal. And one other thing I usually look for is either a school
or a church sale because they're looking to get rid of everything and they usually have
a bag sale at the end and you can get things virtually free. So, that's always a good option.
