Okay we're just going to talk about what these terms mean, address, back swing, and follow
through. So the address means I'm just getting in my stance so I can address the ball, so
I can now address the issue of hitting it, so that's what address means. It means getting
in position to hit. And then what a back swing means is I'm taking the club behind me so
I can swing. Then the follow through means that after I've struck the ball, I follow
through. So one of the reasons that a good follow through is important and it's stressed
in so many golf books, tapes, and videos is that if you don't have a good follow through,
you're not going to have a good swing. So you want to have a nice back, you want to
have a good address, which puts you in position. Then you want to take the back swing which
is all this means, and then you want to have a good follow through. So that's what these
terms mean. So when they're referred to in this series of instructional videos you know
what they mean. It's taking the club back, is the back swing and going forward through
it is your follow through.
