Welcome to PopUp Cooking, where we ask our viewers to share some
of their favorite Thai dishes with us.
Sawasdee Krub, I'm James Green.
And today on PopUp Cooking we'll be making
Nattapol's Green Curry with Beef.
Let's check it out!
Green curry is coconut milk based,
and we'll be using beef today.
That's finger root.
Just be careful not to chop off YOUR fingers when you're slicing it!
We're using a pre-made curry paste that Nattapol picked up
at his local Asian Market.
And then it's really just a matter of adding all the
ingredients and stir-frying everything together.
The combination of the curry paste,
peppercorns and kaffir lime leaves give off an amazing aroma
that fills the entire kitchen.
A little sugar for some sweetnees.
And then the coconut milk to make it nice and creamy.
Our green curry is finished off with baby eggplants and some
Thai chili peppers for that little kick.
We just let it cook for a bit and then it's time to eat!
Well, that's going to be it for today's show.
If there's a dish you'd like to share,
send us an email.
We might just feature it on our next episode.
And be sure to check us out on Facebook and YouTube for more information.
Until next time, I'm James Green.
