From somewhere comes the shrieking cry of a crow
it echoes through the valleys and meadows and along our spine
the crow on an old spruce-branch has arrived once again to witness
an occurrence taking place every night and only he knows this, we don't
but he's going to tell us:
is it time for the nocturnal dance of the zombies
without grief and constant headache
Zombie one, Zombie Two there's a hand rising behind a nameless tombstone
Zombie three's also knocking a stone further away:
"Can I join in already?"
here are three zombies, here in the pale moonlight dancing shoes ready to boogie and bop
until they get a hiccup, hic hic
this is the nocturnal dance, the nocturnal dance of the zombies 0:02:10.180,0:02:16.500The crow shrieks again mystified by this enigmatic play:
one zombie readies a sling it lets a cone swing, blazing through the air:
"Shut your trap already up there, you damn budgie!", growls the zombie
the rumbling and tumbling of thunder drowns the subsequent cries of the crow

The rain yielding, the sun driving the moon away from moi
it's time to bid farewell to the zombie jives, goodbye zombie one, goodbye zombie two and ye olde zombie three
the crow's bristling on a branch it has seen enough of this dance
the sun is dawning time to say goodbye to the zombie foxtrots
the crow spreads its wings he raises to the sky
the only witness to the nocturnal incident
but it knows:
tomorrow anew!
