This video will show you how to access your APA journal subscription electronically on APA PsycNET.
You have access to both print and electronic versions of your journals. Using the electronic version is both useful and easy.
Electronic access provides unique benefits. You can access all content from volume 1 to articles accepted but not yet in print.
You can also use the platform's search features, and you can access your subscription at will.
One easy way to access your subscription is directly from your own APA home page.
Every subscriber has his or her own home page. To access it, go to the main APA page at www.apa.org or bookmark the MyAPA page.
Your user ID is the number you were sent or the email address we have on file for you.
Your initial password is sent to you, but if you forget it or wish to change it, we provide an easy link so you can reset it.

She can access the journal directly from her APA home page by clicking on the link,
which takes her to the journal content on APA PsycNET.

You are taken to the journal home page.
In the center, you see the current issue TOC, with PDF and HTML links.
To the left, you see links to every volume of the journal.
You may search within all issues; Online First, or prepublication content; or the latest issue.
You may also view the Online First list, subscribe to an RSS feed, or set an alert.
A quick look at the options available in the HTML version shows a number of tools to make your subscription more useful.
You can access the journal office,
contact the author directly,
or find the article citation.
You may also navigate to a section of interest
use an array of helpful tools and services,

or share via social media.
Your electronic subscription is hosted on APA PsycNET, the platform for all of our databases and electronic resources.
You can go to your subscriptions directly by clicking the browse tab.
You'll find your subscriptions listed at the top. The other full-text journals available in PsycARTICLES are listed as nonsubscribed.
You may access abstracts of other journals, but you would need to purchase full text.
The grayed out boxes on the platform indicate that you do not have access to the other databases.
Let's do a quick search for "resolutions."
The results default view will display PsycARTICLES, with your subscribed articles linked.
Try to access a different database, such as PsycINFO, and you'll be prompted to pay a transactional fee for 24-hr access.
If you are interested in additional content, you might consider an annual subscription.
