Now I'm going to show you massaging the arm in supine position with the stones. I'm going
to anchor the arm down, let it be in neutral position. Apply the oil from the shoulder
down with the effleurage strokes. Try not to massage the oil too much into the skin
we need it for gliding. Down to the fingertips. Use our medium sized stones, we start at the
bottom, move it around the shoulder, remember to be gentle around the bony processors, not
pushing too hard. Just cupping the stones in my hands gently, not tensing up my fingers.
Can anchor and more up the forearm. You can also strip the muscles, cross fiber friction.
Great for people who are typing or writing all day. People with carpal tunnel. Really
get into the tissues with the heat and the stone. Then to get the biceps, you can move
the arm up this way, rest the arm on my leg and massage with the stones. Circular motions
around the muscle.
And, move back down. The more experienced you get the more you'll have your own variations
on how to hold the stones and which ways you want to position the body. That's hot stone
for the arm in supine.
