Hi everybody! Welcome to Gamescollection.it this is your AmetDj
and I'm here today to show you another limited edition
exclusive for the japanese market!
Today we're gonna talk about Project x Zone or Project "Cross" Zone as
you may like to call it
that is going to be
released in North America and Europe very soon
if I remember right is going to be out somewhere around July 5th as PAL version
whilst in Japan was released last year
around October.
Anyway, this game is a 3DS
exclusive
and features a quite good limited edition
but, unfortunately for us europeans, Namco Bandai decided
to release this little treasure
only for the japanese and northamerican market
leaving us with just the standard edition.
So I decided to pre-order the standard PAL one and get the limited
from Japan
But let's start with the proper unboxing
this is the external box, quite bigger
than a normal 3DS case box. Immediately, in the box art, we can notice
some of the characters we're gonna find during the gameplay
that is a huge crossover among lots of characters from Capcom,
Namco Bandai and SEGA. Basically the game is a strategic turn-based RPG
where we got tons of characters from those well known japanese software houses.
So, this is the front box art
than, we got the back, with some in-game screens.
The external box is made out of carton, so no luxury materials.
Ok, let's open it...
I bought this from Japan,
and I paid something around £30
It was described on Amazon as second-hand
but
with big surprise
I found out
that the game itself is still sealed
so it's brand new
as you can see
it still got its wrapping on it.
But I'm not gonna open it, because, you know, 3DS is region-locked
and I've already pre-ordered
my PAL copy to play. This is gonna stay closed
and sealed.
The proper box art is the same as
the external one
and even the back is identical
apart from the LE content list
that we find only on the outside
Well...
I'm not gonna open it now. There will be just the game cartridge
and, as it's very light, the instruction booklet will be quite disappointing
and I'm not here to ruin the moment ehehe
Than we got the OST music CD
that is called Project X Zone
crossover soundtrack cd
well...
no surprises here. On the back we got a list of all the tracks
most of them, written in japanese
divided by software house
all the tracks from Capcom's games, all the tracks from SEGA's games,
all the tracks from Namco Bandai's games... and in the end, all the tracks exclusively composed
for this game.
So, this is the OST CD
Then...
we got...
a wonderful advertising flyer
with this...
...I guess...japanese singer
that -still guessing- composed or sang
something about the game, maybe the main theme
And, yep, here we find the logo
and it says that the single
is on sale
from October 31, 2012
but we don't really give a *** about this...don't we?
Least but not last...
let's get out onother item from the box
that is...
the artbook
that is called: Appearance Work Guidebook
On the front we find again the same characters from
the boxart
whilst inside we got...
...apart from some unknown japanese writings,
and an index...
all the descriptions for 89 00:05:22,680 --> 00:05:27,020 every character we find in-game, or most of them
Starting with Chris Redfield and
Jill Valentine from Resident Evil...
They are all categorized by software house, as you can see here
the edge of every page has a different colour
like Capcom, with yellow pages
than SEGA, with blue pages
and in the end Namco Bandai
with the orange ones. So yeah, we got lots of in-game screenshots...
from both Project X Zone and
the original game the come from
I have to admit that I don't really know most of these characters,
but I think the'll come from very popular games, at least in Japan
For example here we got Morrigan
with the screenshot
from Darkstalker
Also Ryu
and Ken
with screenshots
from Street Fighter 4
and so on... Well, the artbook is really nice, fully coloured
with also a lot of writing that I can't read
but still, it's really well made
also the paper is really high quality
both inside and outside
At the bottom, then, we got all the
original characters from this game
created just for this
that the don't come from other franchises
And the artbook shows us the process
to develop those original
characters
Well, I can say that this is all folks... Just a quick recap...
carton box
bigger than a standard 3DS box
then
the
fantastic artbook
quite worthy
...sure, it's not the biggest limited I've ever seen, but it's fine as it's just a
3DS game, also is quite cheap
You can easily find it online for
just £30/35
a bargain!
So...artbook
Original soundtrack
with track from thre different software houses' games, plus some original tracks
spam from the chick we don't give a ***
and the proper game itself
As I already said, the 3DS is not region-free, so this limited
is impossible to be played on your PAL console
We need to wait till July to fully enjoy this epic game
in a localized version
Even if I'm not really sure if it'll be localized in italian or
just english, but anyway not japanese... Well, this is really all!
Thanks for watching, we'll meet in the next video Ciao!
