for help with the hook-up process.
You can also use the Quick Start Guide included in the box to follow along.

eCardio will contact you
and walk you through the process.

Now let's start the hook-up process.
Step One
Remove the electrodes and lead wires from the box
With the leadwires disconnected from the monitor,
snap the lead wires onto the electrodes.
Ensure your skin is clean and dry
before applying the electrodes.
Attach the white wire
to the right of the chest
just three finger widths below the collar bone.
To do so,
peel the sticky back off the electrode
and lay it flat against your skin
smoothing out any air bubbles and creases as you go.
Be sure you have removed all backing from the electrode.
Attach the red wire under the ***.
To install the battery pack remove the outermost paper from around the battery
but do not separate the batteries, they are meant to be bound in pairs.
Only install the battery pack provided by eCardio
into the battery compartment
and observe the polarity symbols.
Do not use these batteries in any other device.
Once the batteries are installed the monitor will admit a rising ringtone.
Once the display reads, "Registering Modem",
insert the monitor into its case.
insert the monitor into its case.
The display will eventually read,
"No ECG cable"
up at the top left,
and show the battery level
in a box on the left side,
and a box on the right side
which represents how many recordings are on the device.
After this point gently insert of the connector portion off your cable into the monitor
with the wires pointing up towards the antena.
The device will then admit a single beep
to confirm the attachment.
After the ECG cable is connected to the monitor the screen
After the ECG cable is connected to the monitor the screen
will show a castle like graph then a 45 preview of your ECG.
will show a castle like graph then a 45 preview of your ECG.
Then the display will read "Monitoring",
which will flash at the top left corner.
Now the monitoring is ready to record.
Your final step of the hook-up process is to submit your first recording.
To do so,
press the push button and hold it down for the count of three
until an audible sound is heard
and the screen displays
"Recording" flashing at the top left.
Once that happens, let go of the button
and it will take care of the rest.
Hold as still as possible during the recording
but continue to breath normally.
The screen will display "Monitoring"
when the recording is complete.
One recording will appear on the right side of the screen
usually in the form of a number one.
You also see the box on the right
fill up ever so slightly with some black shading.
This shading
and this number one, will disappear when the monitor transmits your recording to
the monitoring center.
If the box remains black after one hour,
please call the monitoring center.
If you have not submitted your first recording within two days of the start
of your study,
eCardio will contact you
and walk you through the process.
