>> Jeff Dalton: I think there is a bigger philosophical question, here.
I was talking to someone recently that said, here are our ISO 9000 projects. And here
we have our CMMI projects. And over here are our Agile projects. [exclamation] Stop.
You should have a were a great company and heres how we work projects. Thats
all you should have. And then your QA people should be trained in what those things are
and you should be able to evaluate them. It doesnt mean you all do everything the
same way. Some projects will be waterfall. Some will be agile. Some will be R&D that
wont have anything. It just depends. But it all should come from the same place. And
that should be the CACI is great process, that's our process. The Guidant
is great process. The SAIC is great process. And you guys do have something
like this. You have a way of doing things.
Stop thinking about models and standards and all those things. Those are good inputs for
defining what it takes to do your work, but dont run your projects that way.
