Hi, I'm Brigitte from skis.com
and this is Slope Style. I'm here with Alex from the North Face
and we're going to talk today about the LRBC which is
Lower Region *** Control... Oh yeah, yeah. ...That's what I say it is but
what really, what is it? Low Rise Boot Cut Freedom Insulated Pant.
Low Rise Boot Cut. Got it. So, we sell so many of this pant
but tell me why, like what is it that makes this pant so special?
Gosh, there's a lot to talk about so let's start with the LRBC part first, right.
So, yeah Lower Region *** Control, actually Low Rise Boot
Cut is what that stands for and it's not a super low rise and it's not
a super flared boot cut. It kind of blends the best of both worlds, right?
This definitely is not the kind of pant that you're going to bend over and adjust your boots and
your butt crack's going to hang out. It's not that low. I wouldn't want that to happen. That's good.
And at the same time it's not super flared where it looks like it's a pair of bell bottoms when you're on the slopes. So, it's like a
jean fit, right? Yeah, it's going to have a nice denim-type fit to it and to make it even better, what we have
added in this is we have adjustability at the waist. There's Velcro adjustability to make sure you
dial in that fit and also in the bottom, the gaitor has some stretch built into it so the pant will stay
in place when you're riding. It also comes in different lengths. It does. Short,
regular and long. That's nice for those tall and shorter people. Yeah, you can't hem this ski pant.
So, it's very nice. And I gotta tell you, I wanted to buy the white pair
but I'm a little bit nervous. Oh, don't be scared of the white. So, this is a waterproof/
breathable 60 gram insulated pant, right? The nice thing is
is that on all of our waterproof/breathable pants we have a DWR coating which stands for Durable
Water Repellent. It helps shed moisture, shed the snow, but the other thing it
does, it helps resist some of the dirt and grime that you might pick up on the slopes or on the ski lift, things
like that. Plus this pant is easily washable. You can wash it right up.
Don't be afraid of the white. You can pull it off. Okay, no, I'm going to get them. So, that's
the Low Rise Freedom Fit Pant and, Alex, thanks for coming to talk
about it and this is Slope Style with skis.com.
