Hi everybody, we are about to start the first leg of our journey. We were supposed to leave
last night, but due to inclimate weather, and lack of sleep um, we are leaving for Milwaukee
today, which is Sunday the 26h at 7:49. We'll be leaving here in the next half hour or so.
And, I will be vloging all the way up until my return. Kay, see you guys later! M'bye.
(Unintelligible, switching radio stations) Say hi Shelley. (laughs) Say hi Elijah. (Elijah-)Hiii.
I think Emily might be asleep. Yes, yeah, I think you hit the- I think you hit NPR. (...more radio nonsense...)
Hey everybody, Um, we are still in New York state. We got a rather late start, and
17 million things went wrong, But, we're on our way. Um, I'm not entirely sure what ssstown-ish
area we're in. But, we're working on it. The weather's been weird, we go between snowy
nonsense, and not like terrible-awful snow, but like, it's kind of like a fog and then
bright clear sunshine. And then, whatever the hell this is. It's grey doom. Um,
it's quarter after one in the afternoon and we're gonna get into Milwaukee pretty late.
But, what are you gonna do? Um, I guess that's it for now, I'll see you in the next one.
(Shelley making Shivering/stammering noises) Brrrr, it's so cold. (Me-)I know. (Shelley-)Did
you see me standin' out there, how everything was blowing? (Me-) Yup. (Shelley-) I almost
got knocked over. (Me-) Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow. You almost got what? (Shelley-) I almost got
knocked over. (Me-) Knocked over. (Shelley-) By the wind. (Me-) See, I knew I wanted to
walk around out in it. (Shelley-) Go have fun. And tell me how you feel, and come back
in here. (Me-) Winded. (laughing) (Shelley laughing-) Seriously. (more shivers) Twinkie,
I need you, I'm cold. Get yo' *** over here. Get yo' *** over here, come cuddle.
(Me-)First time, in like, since yesterday. (Elijah-) It is the first time! (Somebody
That I Used To Know plays on the radio.) (Shelley-) Oh my god this is gonna be good. We're gonna
get there Yay! (Me-) Yay! (Elijah babbling unintelligibly) (Shelley mimics the Count
from Sesame Street) (Me-) How high is it up? (Shelley-) I don't
know. You might have to look that up. (Me-) Kay. (radio playing) (Shelley-) We're almost
there yeeeaaaahh (Me-) Woooo (laughs) (Shelley-) I don't know what the speed limit is so I
should probably slow down since I don't know. (Me-) Yeah probably. It's so 55, that's what
it was before we hit the toll. (Shelley-) Just my luck, it'd probably be 45. (Me-) Yeah,
probably. I'm surprised they don't have a sign right here (Shelley-) right (Me-) at
the start of the bridge. (...radio playing...) (Shelley-) It's pretty. (Me-) It is. (Shelley-)
And there's Chicagos (Me-) Uh huh. (Shelley-) No traffic, no traffic, no traffic, no traffic...whamee.
(Me-) It's a good thing I totally don't have issues with bridges. (strained noise) (Shelley-)
What was that noise for? (Me-) I don't like bridges. (Shelley-) I know you don't. (Me-)
Thankfully this one isn't over water, 'cause that would make it worse. (Shelley-) Yeah.
(Me-) Like the Rainbow Bridge in Tokyo. (Shelley-) Oh, you wouldn't like crossing the bridge
from U.S. to Canada then. (Me-) I don't like a lot'a bridges. Uh, Japan, Tokyo specifically,
I swear to god, is the world's mecca of bridges and tunnels. They have, they have Rainbow
Bridge goes over Tokyo Bay, and then the there's a tunnel that goes under Tokyo Bay, and-
