Tanikawa: Devastating earthquakes have happend in Japan since March 11th.
We also have threat of radioactivity.
I believe that what we can do now is to cheer up people with fights with our events,
like pro-wrestling worked in the same way after the war about 70 years ago.
This fight for Japan project is approved by UN-HABITAT and its ambassador Mari Christine.
We are going to carry out the support activities through this organization.
Also some politician have offered us cooperation.
What we are exactly going to do is to make and sell goods like T-shirts with the 'FIGHT FOR JAPAN' logo
and contribute the proceeds to those who in need.
And we ourselves will go to the area and help them reconstruct.
Also we will provide water by cooperating with water supply manufacturers.
K-1 wil also carry on this project with overseas events.
Sakuraba: I would like to assist this project.
I'll do my best to give people hopes and energy from a ring.
Sasahara: At the last Strikeforce event held this month,
Gilbert Melendez and Gegard Mousasi wore the short pants which fight for Japan logo were put.
Such as this, not only Japanese but fighters overseas have showed their supports to this project.
As one of activities from this project,
Fedor Emelianenko and Gegard Mousasi will do a charity on May 10th in Netherlands.
This is the T-shirt we created. We will raise money with these kinds of items and donate it.
The coming DREAM on 25th May is held as one of fight for Japan events.
